REGISTERED USERS
Personal Information:
At Registration, you will provide an e-mail address as your User Name and a Password that will be required to gain access to portions of the travel product. When you access your Profile and complete your personal information, we will collect Personal Information about you that you voluntarily provide and that is necessary for us to deliver the services offered on our online travel booking Web site. Personal Information includes your name, e-mail and mailing address, telephone numbers, and payment information for online travel purchases.
Other Information:
You may choose to provide other information about yourself and your travel preferences, such as, preferred seat selection, airline/hotel/car-rental loyalty or awards program membership numbers, special meal requests and ticketing options. We will use this information to automatically record your travel preferences in reservations you confirm and to provide more appropriate travel recommendations to you. Travel Preferences allow us to customize the information we return to you so that your favorite services and companies are considered for inclusion. You may use our online travel product to search for and purchase travel services, even if you do not share this type of information with us.
Traveler Profile:
Once you register, you will be able to reserve and purchase travel services through our online travel product in part using information contained in your personal Profile. To do so, you must provide payment information, consisting of credit card number, expiration date, card holder name, and billing address. We will keep a history of all your reserved and purchased services through our travel product.
Traveler Profile Security and Authentication:
Association Travel Concepts provides additional security by using authentication mechanisms to restrict access to your Traveler Profile information to users without proper authorization. Authentication includes a User Name and Password confirmation before personal information can be requested or viewed. Access to your personal Profile is available only to your User Name and Password, so it is important you save this information while securing it from others' use.
How We Use Your Personal Information:
Personal Information such as your name, telephone numbers, personal travel preferences, and credit card information is provided to airlines, car rental companies, hotels and other travel suppliers when necessary to obtain travel service availability and rates, and to complete a reservation or finalize the purchase of a travel itinerary. Association Travel Concepts does not warranty the way your personal information is used by travel suppliers to whom this information is provided. We use your e-mail address to notify you of purchase confirmation. Personal information may also be provided to support personnel as necessary to ensure the integrity and operation of our travel product.
Sharing of Personal Information and Disclosure:
Other than as explained in this policy, we will not disclose any personal information we collect from you to others without your permission, except in certain limited circumstances:
(a) to protect the security of our travel product and our rights under Terms and Conditions of Use;
(b) to protect ourselves against liability;
(c) in response to legal process;
(d) if we believe in good faith that the law requires it;
(e) in connection with a sale of our business or company; or
(f) in connection with governmental security initiatives.
Other Travelers:
If you decide to reserve or purchase travel services for other travelers under your registration, we will collect certain personal information about these travelers. You need to ensure each of these other travelers agrees to allow you to disclose their personal information. If you create an individual Profile for another traveler, we will retain their personal information under your Profile section of the online travel product along with your own personal Profile.
Security:
Whenever you use our online travel product, you are automatically signed in securely unless you choose otherwise. All your transactions are protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, 5.0, Netscape, and other popular browsers.
Whenever personal or financial information is transmitted via the Internet, Association Travel Concepts utilizes the leading security technology on the Internet known as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. SSL protects the confidentiality of personal and financial information shared between the user and Association Travel Concepts by encrypting the data during transmission. SSL encrypts your credit card number, name, address, and phone number before they travel over the Internet.
Travel Purchase Information:
Association Travel Concepts collects the billing address of the credit card that is used to purchase travel. We will also collect credit card information, including card number, card type, card holder name, and expiration date, in order to bill you for travel purchased through our travel product. Each time you purchase travel through our travel product, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your itinerary to the e-mail address you provided at Registration.
Your Consent:
Use of our travel product means you agree to the collection and use, as defined in this Privacy Policy, of information made available through this product. Changes to our Privacy Policy will be posted on this page so you are always made aware of the information we collect, how it is used and when and to whom it is disclosed.
Ability to Delete Your Account Information:
At any time you may update or delete information in your personal Profile section of the online travel product, including information in your own Profile and in any other Traveler Profiles you have created.
Use of Cookies:
Cookies are small bits of information that are stored on your computer by your web browser to help establish a future connection. Cookies allow our online travel product server to recognize you on subsequent Log-ins, correctly provide you with the information you request based on preferences you establish, and to authenticate your authority to access the travel product. In addition, Cookies are used to maintain session information during a transaction and to enhance security. Cookies and authentication software enable us to recognize you as a unique user, saving you from going through the Log-in process each time you visit the travel product, identify where you are in a purchase transaction in progress during a session, and to obtain usage information about the way you prefer to use our travel product, allowing us to improve the ease of use in future versions.
Modification of this Privacy Policy:
Association Travel Concepts reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time.
Our Legal Obligations:
Association Travel Concepts may be required by law to disclose information you have provided in obtaining our travel products or services.
